This is a completely unique wall panel created for 'Pivot', an invitational exhibition at The Jamestown Art Center, curated by Karen Conway and Jeff Foye. The exhibition encouraged each established artist, to experiment with a method outside the artist normal practice. For me that meant no metal, no welding, and no third dimension. This is a low relief lattice pattern created from 1/4" thick wood rulers, cut and glued on top of a freehand perspective drawing or pattern, appearing to diminish into a void below.
