The Pine Apple Table

$1,750

It was a different time, and a different place, so very many years ago. My studio was huge by most standards, with an industrial elevator large enough to lift a car, a roof top balcony that overlooked all of Providence, and a community of like minded artists and designers all around. It was then, with large blocks of rough cut pine, and a handy electric chain saw, that I spontaneously created this table.

Rough cut pine, glued and assembled, then cross cut with a chain saw. After some light sanding I torched and slightly charred the surface. Satin Polyurethane seals the deal.
